Hope Mission provided 39,232 meals served from our Community Kitchen.

The Hope Mission Men's Shelter provided a temporary home and support for 155 guests.

The Emergency Financial Assistance program provided financial assistance to 253 families.

We ask you to please call ahead with goods, services and financial donations to make sure that a manager is available to receive your donation and to issue a receipt for you. This also ensures that donations are recorded properly.

Events

Empty Bowls

Empty Bowls is an annual fundraiser sponsored by Hope Mission. The event is held each February  at the Morehead City Civic Center. Proceeds benefit both Hope Mission and Martha’s Mission. A $20.00 donation allows for empty-bowlsa choice of a handmade bowl by an area potter and art students and soup donated by local restaurants. The empty bowl is taken-home is a reminder of those worldwide whose bowls are empty.

Tickets must be purchased in advance of the event. Watch our website or Facebook page for more information on the next Empty Bowls event.

Tickets may be purchased at Hope Mission and several other locations, which will be listed as the time gets closer.  We generally begin offering tickets for sale a little before Christmas so that you can use them as gifts.

 


Hope Mission Golf Tournament

The Hope Mission Golf Tournament has been a great fundraiser for us and lots of fun for everyone!

There are many prizes awarded for Hole-in-One and Closest to the Pin. We also sell Red Tees, Mulligans, and hold a raffle (winners to be announced at the event) …. Don’t miss the fun while you support a local non-profit organization whose mission is to serve those in need through our Community Kitchen, Men’s Shelter, Emergency Financial Assistance and Substance Abuse Ministries.

In addition to a fun round of golf, we wrap up the event with some fellowship and a great meal. Whether you choose to golf tournamentplay a round of golf, become a sponsor or volunteer to help us, we hope to see you there!
