Thrift Store

The Hope Mission Thrift Store officially opened for business on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 10:00am!

We love our new store and hope you will too!hope-mission-thrift-store

We are really excited to be able to add this new addition to Hope Ministries. The Thrift Store gives us the ability to accept donations of items we could not accept in the past and to convert those items into valuable new resources, namely revenue.

This new revenue stream will enable us to expand our ministry, as we continue to meet the needs of our community.

Here are just some of the things this new thrift store will enable us to do:

  1. Open a home and provide assistance to homeless women
  2. Open transitional homes and provide assistance to men and women who have completed a 6-month substance abuse recovery program through Hope Mission’s sister organization, Hope Recovery Homes
  3. Increase our emergency financial assistance to help those in financial crisis

As you know, we need and appreciate your help!

If you have items that you are replacing, giving away, want to donate, etc. bring them to Hope Mission or the new Hope Mission Thrift Store (1409 Bridges Street – directly across from Hope Mission and the Morehead City Fire Station) or give us a call (252-240-2359) for more information. We will pick up large items.

And if you are so inclined or have access to this type of resource… we sure could use a nice sign 🙂

“Serving others with many hands and one heart”, Hope Mission makes a difference in our community!
